Oh Canada!

I got to play high-tech indian for a week, visiting Little Missinaibi Lake in Ontario for a fly-in fishing excursion. It was nature the way the good Lord intended it to be. Unchartered fishing waters and miles of wilderness in the middle of nowhere. Bald eagles, moose, and giant walleye and northern pike are starting to convince me that I'm living in the wrong place. Not to mention the Canadian currency has nearly overtaken the US dollar. Other than the bugs and sunburn, it was a week worth remembering. My dad and I caught 63 walleye in the first three hours after we landed and found some monster pike after portaging to another lake.

Nice! Those fish are huge! My dad and brother-in-law would go nuts. :) My brother-in-law even participates in fishing tournaments every summer... he is obsessed.

I think my uncle has gone fishing up in Ontario before too but I'm not sure where... but it was also one of those places that you had to get to by plane. That is awesome!
